West Nile Virus Information Exchange for Survivors and Supporters

Hello everyone. I am glad you have found the West Nile webpages. My hope is for this to become a resource for those who have been affected by this devastating illness. More than 25,000 people in the U.S. have been ill as a result of this virus, and we are now beginning to understand the long term issues faced by those who had severe disease. I receive numerous emails daily from those who were ill or are supporting an ill loved one. Unfortunately I do not have time to respond to everyone, so I hope this can be a way instead to make communication easier. Please use this as a means of communicating to myself and particularly to share experiences and learn from others.
This blog is intended for West Nile virus survivors or family members. My goal is for this to become a forum for those who have been affected by West Nile to express their experiences and concerns and to connect with others who have also been ill.
PLEASE understand that this is an OPEN forum, therefore anything and everything you post can be seen by hundreds or thousands of others.
